Jonah's anger at the Lord

Jonah was sore displeased at God's compassion for the inhabitants of Nineveh, he thought God should punish the wicked and bless the righteous God fearing people. But God had other plans and wanted to save the city. When things didn't go Jonah's way he sat down and pouted.
Life isn't always the way we want it to be; and doesn't always seem fair, in our eyes or from our perpective. But all is fair and just in God's eyes. And we are to resist the urge to doubt or judge like Jonah. We are to have faith and believe that God is just and all is in His control. Life is not always fair but God is always good.
