Thought for Today

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.

II Timothy 1:7

The spirit of fear as mentioned in this verse is the fear of doubts and insecurities that can wage war with our mind and feelings. These thoughts are of the devil as he attempts to convince us we are unworthy and unloved by God. But God's word says "fear not" and by His love we can live a life of completeness walking in his grace and worshipping His holy name.
