Thought for Today

We have no basis to boast of our own might. We can't preserve ourselves, topple kingdoms or even know what tommorow holds nor can we change the past. So what do Christians have they can boast of? God, we are living proof of His saving grace, mercy, forgiveness and blessings. He saved us when we didn't deserve it, comforts those in despair, sorrow and in grief. We can rejoice because God saves the sinner, raises up the disheartened and mends the broken in spirt and body. Praise God for His grace and glory.

My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

PSALM 34:2
