The first book of Moses-GENESIS

The first part of Genesis focuses on the beginning and spread of sin in the world (causing separation from God). And culminates in the devastating global flood during the days of Noah ( the wages of sin is untilmately death) and God's dealing with one man, Abraham thru whom God promises to bring salvation and blessing to the world ( man's redemption from sin). In the book of Genesis we can see the blueprint of God's plan to redeem mankind and total forgiveness for sin.

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

Genesis 1:1

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained. O Lord how excellent is thy name in all the earth.

Psalm 8:3,9

Before the universe was ever created God had a plan whereby man could be forgiven his sins.
