Is the Bible God's holy word?
It has long been established that the Bible was written over a period of 1,600 years by more than 40 writers from very diverse walks of life, some were fishermen, generals, kings, shepherds and historians. They lived in three different continents and wrote in several different languages. They wrote on controversial topics yet the Bible is in total agreement and harmony. Not a single contradiction has ever been discovered. The writers wrote in dungeons, in temples, during times of peace and times of war yet sound like their words were from one source. Truly the Bible has stood the test of time because it is God's word.
Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light to my path.
Psalms 119:105
All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness so that everyone who belongs to God is profecient, equipped for every good work.
II Timothy 3:16-17
