Why go to church?

Coming out of church, Mrs. Anybody asked her husband, "Do you think that Johnson girl is tinting her hair?"
"I didn't even see her," admitted Mr. Anybody."And that dress Mrs. Oak was wearing," continued Mrs. Anybody. "Really don't tell me you think that's proper for attending church." I'm afraid I didn't notice her either," said Mr. Anybody. "My Gosh," snapped Mrs. Anybody. "Don't you pay attention to anything? A lot of good it does you to go to church!"
